When a Bad Thing Turn in a Good Thing

Couple of weeks ago my friend invite me to do out to dance.  I really want to go, I tell my-self girls night-out will be great for me, just dance and have fun. During the day I plan what to wear and was thinking in all the fun that I should have that night.  After lunch, I start feeling a mild headache but I just take pills for the headache and think “I should be fine for tonight” As the day go by my headache keep worse and worse.

I get home eat something lite and try to rest.  My friend calls me to tell me the time she will pick me up, and I tell her that I didn’t feel well.  She encourages me to go and told me that some drinks and dance will make me feel better. I drag my-self to get ready. When I was ready waiting for her I laid down in the couch, and wait for her. By the time she gets to pick me up I was crying for the big headache that I had, and told her I will not make it.

The next day she told me that was good idea that I didn’t went out with her because she saw a guy that will hurt me and mess up my night if I see him that day.  So here is when I realize how a bad thing turns in a positive one.

How many stories like this one we live everyday? How many times we get crazy and forget that what seems a bad thing is truly a good one?  May be at the beginning looks like a curse or something terrible, but at the end you see that was the best for you.  That is why we always should thanks God for the good and bad things that happened to us because everything that happened it is for a good reason. God always will protect us; all we have to do is trust in Him.

  Proverbs 3:5-6

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
 and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
 and he will make your paths straight.

Big Hug!
