Positive

This morning I took the bus with my “favorite” driver. As I was walking to the bus, I could not find my wallet, and I just turn around but then I found it! So I go back to the bus before she takes off. The driver has a really mad look and face. I say good morning twice to her and she don’t even mover her eyes! How people can be so mean? Why people prefer being mad and angry at everything and everyone? It is not easier and better be happy? It is not better try to find the positive things in life instead being complaining about every single thing that we do not like?

Yesterday, I was doing homework late night again! The homework was about positive psychology and how it helps clients be more positives. The topic was about the importance of having hope in life, have meaning in life and feeling the connections with our community, work, church, and other institutions. Also, talks about the importance of forgiveness, which I think is a powerful tool for people move on with their life.

The presentation that I was watching present one exercise that I really like among others that are very helpful to live life at the fullest. The exercise consists of everyday before go to sleep think about your day and recall three things that you believe were blessing that day. My three blessings from yesterday was, a conversation that I had with a good friend, a cake request for this weekend, which is great financially speaking, and have the courage to cut a not pleasant conversation that I had with somebody. Everyday we receive blessings from God all you have to do is receive it, enjoy it, and being thankful!

 Numbers 6:24-26

24 The LORD blesses you and keeps you; 25 the LORD makes his face shine on you
and be gracious to you; 26 the LORD turn his face toward you
 and give you peace

Big Hug,
MRM
