Just One

Well the sun comes out, that is a good signal! No end of the world… Last night, I was watching a movie with my kids. The movie was Arthur Christmas, an animated movie where Santa Clause has children, and when that Santa retired one of his kids take his position as Santa Clause. It is a clever and technological movie, literally very technological. Make you think how we life today with so much computers and technology something that is good and give us a lot of advantages and can even make easier our live up to certain point, but when we abuse it can be very dangerous for us.

I could not see the whole movie, because I fall asleep couple of times during the movie. In the movie the elves move very quickly through around the world with a time frame established, because the have to delivery all the gifts on time before kids wake up, and they have to be very diligent with the time since not every country have the same time. It was a really funny movie. They finish on time and delivery all the gifts and Santa Clause went to sleep. One of the elf realize that one kid left without a toy, that her toy was accidentally drop out of the line of delivery. The big deal here was that Santa has 2 sons. One of them wants to deliver the give and the other say “It is just one kids in millions of kids”

The rest of the movie move around all the difficulties of one of Santa’s boy to delivery that special toy for that “just one kid” That reminds me the parable of the lost sheep, it does not matter if is one kid or one person out of thousand of them, everybody need to receive their gifts, salvation. God want us to care of each other; make sure that nobody stay without a gift (gift = word of God, grace of God, salvation). I believe, that is the main reason that we are here in this world, to taking care for each other and help who is in need.

Today, it is a very sad day for me. My kids just left this morning with their dad for the holidays. Before they leave, I hug and kiss them and tell the how much I love them and say have fun. Driving to my work, I realize that the sun came out very shiny and bright that is when I realize that life will keep moving and that everything will be just fine.

Matthew 18:10-14
10 “Be careful that you don’t look down on one of these little ones. I say to you that their angels in heaven are always looking into the face of my Father who is in heaven. 12 What do you think? If someone had one hundred sheep and one of them wandered off, wouldn’t he leave the ninety-nine on the hillsides and go in search for the one that wandered off? 13 If he finds it, I assure you that he is happier about having that one sheep than about the ninety-nine who didn’t wander off. 14 In the same way, my Father who is in heaven doesn’t want to lose one of these little ones.

Big Hug,
MRM
